Summer is finally here! There is no better place to pick up the summer vibes than Los Angeles, California. Even though it feels like summer 365 days a year here, LACS has designed the perfect summer bucket list to bring your staycation to the next level! From lounging by the beach to enjoying rooftop drinks with friends and family, there’s something for everyone on this list.
Lounge by the Beach!
This may seem like an obvious choice, but many don’t take advantage of Los Angeles’ world-famous beaches! Take a trip to Topanga beach, one of the original surfing beaches in Los Angeles and the site of many TV shows and movies. Head to Malibu for some of the prettiest views and best food in the world. Don’t want to make the drive up north? Head down to Santa Monica beach and check out the amusement park, or, rent some bikes and cruise down the boardwalk. No matter which beach you choose, you’re sure to catch that summer feeling.
Catch a Movie at Boat Cinema
Fan of the movies? Fan of boats? Great! Catch a movie on the water from the comfort of your own personal boat at Boat Cinema. They provide personal electric boats for rent with all of the equipment needed for an unforgettable experience!
The boats include premade picnic setups with vegan and non-vegan options. Boats fit up to five people and at least one person in your party has to be above 18 in order to rent. Book tickets here!
Take in the City Views on a Rooftop Deck
What’s a better way to soak up the summer vibes than on a rooftop, enjoying panoramic views of Los Angeles? There are plenty of rooftop restaurants throughout the city, many offering upscale dining options to pair with the upscale views. Our favorite rooftop? LACS’s rooftop of course! Come sit and take in the views of the heart of downtown Los Angeles, all within the comfort of your office building. We know you work hard at LACS, but don’t forget to enjoy all we have to offer by taking advantage of our state-of-the-art amenities!
Head to Uncorked: LA Wine Festival!
Uncorked: LA Wine Festival is coming back to Los Angeles on August 6th, 2022 at the California Science Center in downtown. Enjoy over 100 different wines and champagnes in one of Southern California’s best museums, equipped with a live DJ, local food trucks, and more!
This event benefits A Kid Again, a children’s charity organization dedicated to aiding children with life-threatening conditions. Bring your thirst and your friends and head out to Uncorked. Grab your tickets here!
Hit LACS!
We want you to take advantage of all that we have to offer. Take some one-on-one training classes at our fitness center to help you get in shape for the warmer weather! Looking to cool off? Head over to our shaded garden and take in the serene views while diving deep into a nice book.
If you have furry friends, take them to our LACS dog park while you gaze up at the city lights. After, assemble your friends and head over to our bocce ball court to catch a couple of games under the summer sun. Grab food at Flix Cafe! We have a wide variety of options made personalized for you. Don’t forget about $5 Fridays at Flix! $5 menu for food and drinks after 3:00 pm.
